Hello and welcome! Here's my take on the new MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #362
Here's the sketch:
Since we're getting close to Christmas, I decided to create a winter scene using the images from Harvest Buddies and Dashing Deer stamp sets. I stamped them with Antique Linen Distress Oxide and did no-line coloring with Copic markers.
I trimmed Bristol paper to an A2 sized panel to create my card front. I blended the panel with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide. After, I stamped it with the BG Whimsical Woodgrain using the Walnut Stain again.
Once the inks dried, I die-cut the panel with the circle die from the Circle STAX Die-namics as shown.
I diluted Copic Opaque White with water and splattered the panel with a paintbrush to add the snow element.
I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark Ink on black cardstock, applied white embossing powder and heat set it. Then I die-cut the sentiment using the small fishtail sentiment banner from Blueprints 27 Die-namics.
I made a top folding card base and inked the front with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide. I mounted the card front on top with two layers of mounting foam tape. Then, I mounted the squirrel and the raccoon with the foam squares. Lastly, I adhered the sentiment, the birds, and the foliage as shown.
