MFT WSC 374 - Slow Down and Enjoy Your day

Hello! It's time for a new Wednesday Sketch Challange at My Favorite Things. For today, I played with the adorable Sweet Sloths stamp set and coordinating dies.

My card inspired by the sketch:

Sketch 374:

To begin, I stamped the images using Gray Cement Hybrid Ink for a no-line coloring with Copics. I went over the eyes, noses, and mouths with a brown Copic Multiliner. I added extra details with a white gel pen. After I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.

I made the yellow cloud panel using the Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide and the Mini Cloud Stencil.

I created the white frame using 2 of the rectangle dies from the A2 Rectangle Stax Set 1 - Dienamics.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder and cut it out with a die from Hearts in a Row - Horizontal Dienamics.

To assemble the card, I adhered the trimmed pattern leaf paper from Fun and Frolic Paper Pack to an A2 sized card base and adhered the cloud panel on top. After I mounted the frame and the sentiment with foam tape. To finish, I mounted the sloths with foam tape as well.

Visit MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog for more details on the sketch challenge and inspirations from the participating design team members.

Thanks so much for visiting me today! Happy cardmaking!!
Hugs, Amy

  1. I love that you used patterned paper for the background - I have the hardest time incorporating pp in my projects.
