Hello and welcome to My Favorite Things Card Kit Countdown Day 1! This month's kit is called "Bundle of Balloons" and it features Balloon Alphabet and Numbers Die-namics with a great selection of card stocks. You're going to have so much fun with this kit, I know I did!!
For today, I made a new baby card. I love that I was able to spell out the word "baby" using the Alphabet Die-namics. I combined the balloons with images from BB Up In the Air stamp set to create this one of a kind card!
To begin, I stamped the elephant first and adhered a cutout mask on top. Then, partially stamped the hot air balloon from the same set. I just stamped the little basket as shown. I colored the images with Copics and cut them out.

To create my front panel, I die-cut Stamping Mask Paper with In the Clouds Die-namics. Please note: In the Clouds Die-namics is no longer available, you can use other cloud dies such as the Puffy Clouds Di-namics. I adhered the die-cut masks and distressed the background with Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachios. After I removed the masks, I went over the clouds lightly with Cracked Pistachios.
Once dried, I stamped the sentiment from LLD Welcome Baby set and embossed it with silver embossing powder.
For the balloons, I die-cut white cardstock with the Solid Balloon Die-namics to make four balloons. Then, I die-cut white cardstock with the lettered Balloons to use the letters "Baby" (these letters will get adhered into the polka dot balloons). Using the same dies I die-cut polka dot pattern papers from Party Patterns Paper Pack as shown. I assembled the balloons by adhering the polka dot balloons on top of the white balloon and adhered the negative die-cut letters as shown. Then, I die-cut four white strings using the string dies from the Alphabet Die-namics and glued it onto the back of the balloons.
To finish, I adhered the images and the balloons as shown with foam squares. Then I mounted the front panel with foam tape to a top folding A2 sized card base.
