Hello there! I'm stopping by to share a card I made for the new My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 379.
My card features the adorable April release Too-Cute Turtles stamp set.
New sketch 279
For my card I turned the sketch up side down. To begin, I stamped the images and colored it with Copic markers. After, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.
For the front panel, I used trimmed smooth white card stock and inked it lightly with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide. Then, I inked it again with the same ink using a Cloud Stencil. After, I spritzed it with water to add some texture.
For the grass panel, I die-cut Sour Apple card stock with a die from Grassy Hills at an angle to match the sketch. To give it more color, I inked the edges with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Then, I added splatters of Copic Opaque White. After, I foam mounted it to the front panel.
The sentiment was stamped and die-cut with a die from Hearts in a Row - Horizontal Die-namics. To finish I used double sided adhesive or foam mounting tape to adhere the images and the sentiment as shown.
