Howdy friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another awesome new sketch challenge at My Favorite Things. I made a fun western- themed friendship card featuring the Best in the West stamp set.
New Sketch 380
To begin, I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. As always, I added details and highlight with a white gel pen.
I trimmed Natural cardstock to an A2 size and created a cowboy hat patterned background using Biscotti Premium Dye Ink.
I die-cut Bristol paper with a large a large die from Circle Stax Die-namics. I blended it with Distress Oxide Inks. I adhered the circle to the patterned panel.
To make the circle frame, I die-cut Whip Cream cardstock with a die from Single Stitch line Circle Frame Die-namics. I made sure the size of the frame matched the inked circle. I foam mounted the frame on top of the circle.
The sentiment was stamped with Biscotti Premium Dye Ink and die-cut with a sentiment strip from Hearts in a Row Die-namics.
To finish, I arranged the the images and sentiment according to the sketch. I used double sided tape or mounting tape and adhered it to the card front. It's a fun sketch, I hope you'll play along with us!
