Hello and welcome! I'm honored to participate in Layton's Legacy Card Drive & Fundraiser Blog Hop hosted by Lea Lawson in the honor of her sweet son, Layton Caleb. You can read more about Lea's story HERE.
My card today features MFT Forest Friends (retired), the mushrooms from BB Happy Hedgehogs and the sentiment from Wild Woodland.
I colored the stamped images with Copic markers and cut them out.
To make the front panel, I stamped the BG Whimsical Woodgrain Background on an A2 sized panel. I die-cut windows with the Stitched Peek-a-Boo Window Dienamics. For the grass panel on top, I die-cut Sour Apple card stock with a die from Grassy Hills Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment there with Chocolate Brown Hybrid Ink.
I inked the background panel (just behind the windows) with Tattered Rose and Antique Linen Distress Oxides.
To assemble the card, I foam mounted the front to the background panel, the grass on top of the front panel, and the woodland animals as well. As a result, this card has nice dimension and weight to it- just the way I like it!!
You can find the hop details at the My Favorite Things Challenge Blog with all details and information to donate, win prizes and read Lea's story.
