PPP May Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the Pretty Pink Posh May Product Release Blog Hop!

Today, I'm sharing two cards. The first card features the new Flourishing Fuchsias set. The second card features the new Happy Mail set and a dog from the new Playful Puppies set.

The first card, I colored the images from Flourishing Fuchsias with Zig Clean Color real brush markers. I used a white gel pen to add details and highlights and a pink gel pen to color the anthers. After, I cut them out with the coordinating dies. 

For the front panel, I trimmed Smooth Bristol paper to an A2 size and blended it with Distress Inks. To add texture, I spritzed it with water. Once it dried, I embossed the sentiment from Happy Mail set.

To finish, I foam mounted the colored images and glued on few Pearl White Jewels. 

For the second card, I colored the stamped images with Copic markers. The mail box and the letters are from Happy Mail set. The dog is from Playful Puppies set. The little bird and the butterflies are from Woodland Critters set. Once again, I used a white gel pen to add details to the images and the grass panel.

The front panel was blended with Distress Inks on A2 size Smooth Bristol paper. To add texture, I spritzed it with water.  

The grass panel was die-cut with a die from the Scallop Borders die set. To add more color I inked the die-cut green card stock with Lucky Clover Distress Ink and embossed the sentiment. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the clouds that I die-cut with dies from Fly A Kite Dies set to the front panel. I foam mounted the grass panel on there as well. To finish, I used double sided tape and foam tape to adhere the images.
