MFT - WSC 389

Hello crafty friends! Today, I'm playing along with the new MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 389.

I used the whimsical Beach Buds stamp set to make a fun hidden slider birthday card inspired by the sketch.

I Copic colored stamped images from Beach Buds and cut them out with their coordinating dies.

The sky panel was ink blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide and spritzed with a sprayer. The sand panel was die-cut with a die from Snow Drifts Die-namics and ink blended with Antique Linen and Fray Burlap Distress Oxides. I added splatters of Frayed Burlap as well.

The sentiment "A Pinch to Grow an Inch" was white embossed on black cardstock. The "Happy Birthday" was stamped on trimmed white cardstock that pulls out on the side and moves the crab. On the edge of the strip, I stamped "Pull" from the Interactive Labels stamp set.

Here's a short video of how the crab moves:

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll play along with this week's new Sketch Challenge 389. For more information and inspiration from the participating design team members, you can visit the MFT Challenge Blog.
