ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT: HOLIDAY MESSAGES

Hello and welcome back to the Mama Elephant October Release Stamp Highlight! Today, the design team is highlighting the Holiday Messages stamp set. This awesome set is filled with many small classic type sentiments.

I have two projects to share with you today. I took the Holiday Messages stamp set and created patterned backgrounds for my cards. Let's take a look!

To begin, I lined up the sentiments on the Misti stamping tool so that they can be closer together. Then, I stamped the front panel with a light gray ink for a softer look and die-cut the panel with the All Prettied Up Creative Cuts

The A2 sized background panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides, leaving some white area for the snowy hill. I added splatters of water and white dots with a gel pen as shown.

I Copic colored the adorable images from Cool Penguins with gray ink for no-line coloring. Then, I added details with a white gel pen.

To finish, I foam mounted the front panel to the background panel and foam mounted the penguins to the circle opening.

For the second project, I used the lined up sentiment again but this time I heat embossed it in white. Then, I ink blended the panel with Distress Oxides. I die-cut the center using the circle die from All Prettied Up Creative Cuts

For the background panel, I only ink blended where the opening would be with Distress Oxides. Once again, I added splatters of water and added white dots with a white gel pen.

I Copic colored the adorable dog and the present from Yappy Woofmas and the cute little birds from Trim the Tree and cut them out with the coordinating Trim the Tree Creative Cuts and Yappy Woofmas Creative Cuts.

To finish, I foam mounted the front panel to the background panel and foam mounted the images to the circle opening.

Thank you for visiting me today! I hope you enjoyed my projects.
Happy stamping!
Hugs, Amy
