Hello and welcome to the last Mama Elephant's February release Stamp Highlight. Today the design team is highlighting the Beautiful Poppy Flowers set.
Today I'm sharing a jar shaped shaker card using the new Poppy Flowers set and the new Jar Shaker creative cuts.
To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Poppy Flowers stamp set and cut them out with the Poppy Flowers creative cuts.
To make the shaker part of the card, I used the Jar Shaker creative cuts. I die-cut white cardstock using the jar dies nine times and adhered 8 of them together instead of using foam tape. Then, I used the larger jar die and die-cut a piece of acetate for the front window and white cardstock for the background panel.
I ink blended the front jar frame and the background panel with Distress Oxide. Then, I adhered the die-cut acetate behind the front frame. After, I adhered the stack of 8 die-cuts of the jar frame to the background panel. Next, I added the shaker elements and the stems to the inside of the jar and closed it with the front window panel.
To make the card base, I folded the paper in half and did partial die-cutting using the larger die from the Jar Shaker creative cuts.
To finish, I added the sentiment from the Poppy Flowers stamp set and adhered the flowers as shown. This card fits in an A2 sized envelope.
Thank you for visiting me! I hope you enjoyed my project.
Happy stamping!
