ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - LITTLE MERMAIDEN AGENDA

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant April Release Stamp Highlight. Today the design team is highlighting the adorable Little Mermaiden Agenda set.

I have two fun interactive shaker cards to share with you. The first card highlights the Little Mermaiden Agenda set, the new Scales Cover Creative Cuts, and the new Ribbon Banner Creative Cuts.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Little Mermaiden Agenda stamp set for both cards and cut them out with the coordinating Little Mermaiden Agenda Creative Cuts. For the first card, I also Copic colored stamped sea plants from the Mermaid Kisses stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Mermaid Kisses Creative Cuts. I used a white gel pen to add details to the colored images.

The background panel was ink blended using Distress Oxides. After, I added splatters of water and white dots using a white gel pen.

The front panel was die-cut using the new Scales Cover Creative Cuts and then die-cut with the largest die from the Oval Scallop Frames Creative Cuts to create the window.

Behind the front panel, I adhered a layer of trimmed acetate and added two layers of foam tape around the oval and the edges.

To assemble the card, I adhered the four mermaids and fish on the background panel. After, I added sparkling jewels for the shaker element and mounted the front panel on top. On the front of the card, I added the sentiment "Mermaid Kisses and Starfish Wishes" (from the Mermaid Kisses ) that was heat embossed on the die-cut banner that I made using the Ribbon Banner Creative Cuts. Lastly, I added the rest of the colored images as shown.

The second interactive shaker card highlights the new Little Mermaiden Agenda stamp set, the new Scales Cover Creative Cuts and the Jar Shaker Creative Cuts.

To begin, I die-cut an A2 sized panel with the Scales Cover Creative Cuts and then ink blended it with Distress Oxides. After I added splatters of water.

Once dried, I die-cut the panel with the two jars shaped dies together from the  Jar Shaker Creative Cuts to create the frame and the background panel.

I used the larger die from the Jar Shaker Creative Cuts to die-cut an acetate to create the front window. After I heat embossed the sentiment " Birthday Wishes" from the Mini Everyday Messages stamp set in white. Then, I attached the acetate behind the frame.

To assemble the card, I adhered the background panel to a jar shaped card base I made by partial die-cutting folded cardstock using the larger jar die from Jar Shaker Creative Cuts. Then, I added the mermaid (with the balloon) with the clear string attached between two layers of foam tape. This allows her to move when you shake the jar. After, I added the tiny blue stars for the shaker element and attached the frame on top of the background. To finish, I added the colored fish and the two mermaids to the card front.

Here's a short video of the swimming mermaid. :)

Thank you for visiting me! I hope you enjoyed my projects.
