MFT JUNE RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 4

Hello and welcome to the MFT June Release Countdown day 4. All of the amazing new products will be available on Tuesday, June 4th at 10AM EST. Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog during the countdown to see the full reveal.

Today I'm sharing a card that features the new SY Picnic Pals set along with the new Slider Surprise Die-namics.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the SY Picnic Pals stamp set. I added details using colored pencils and a white gel pen.  After, I cut them out with the coordinating SY Picnic Pals Die-namics.

To build the card, I die-cut Neenah Solar White cardstock using the dies from the Slider Surprise Die-namics. I ink blended the front flap with the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink to make the clouds. I ink blended the bottom of the flap with Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink. After, I stamped the sentiment "Sweet Birthday Wishes" from the Sweet Sentiments stamp set.

I stamped the word "Pull" from the Interactive Labels stamp set on a die-cut panel (this panel gets adhered to the back of the flap and when you pull, it reveals the hidden surprise) using the Slider Surprise Die-namics.

To finish, I assembled the card to an A2 sized Sno Cone panel. After, I adhered the colored images to the top of the flap and added the gift card inside the flap.

Here's a quick video of the how the flap slides up and down to reveal the gift card inside:

That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed my project. See you again tomorrow for my Countdown Day 3 project. Happy stamping!

Hugs, Amy :)

I spritzed the panel with water for texture. Once dried, I stamped the smaller fish from the stamp set with Mermaid Lagoon and added white dots with a gel pen.

The cloud panel was scored at 3 3/4" and 4 1/2". The wave panels were scored at 1" and 1 3/4". I adhered the panels together with the pop -up mechanism inside.
