Hello and welcome back to the MFT June Release Countdown day 3. All of the amazing new products will be available on Tuesday, June 4th at 10AM EST. Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog during the countdown to see the full reveal.

Today I'm sharing a fun interactive hidden slider card that features the new PI Hey, Sunshine set.

To begin, I stamped the images from the PI Hey, Sunshine stamp set. I added tiny hearts on the girl's bathing suit using a stamp from BB Bew Best Friend stamp set. After, I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating PI Hey, Sunshine Die-namics.

The A2 sized front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides in Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers. I added splatters of water for some texture. Once dried, I heat embossed the sentiment "Let Your Troubles Float Away" from the PI Hey, Sunshine stamp set.

For the slider element, I die-cut the front panel with the smallest die from the Spin and Slide Die-namics Channels. I built my slider mechanism with a penny and Slider Element.

To assemble, I foam mounted the front panel with the slider mechanism inside the channel to a top folding A2 sized card base.

Lastly, I adhered the girl to the slider mechanism and the adhered the beach ball to the front panel as shown.

Here's a quick video of the card in action:

That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed my project. See you again tomorrow for my Countdown Day 2 project. Happy stamping!

Hugs, Amy :)
