Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is featuring the sweet Snow Friends set from the recent amazing 7th Anniversary release.

Today, I'm sharing a fun snow globe pop up Christmas card inspired by a card I received from a friend made by Hallmark.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Snow Friends stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Snow Friends Creative Cuts.

For the trees in the background, I used the Winter Forest Cover Creative Cuts.

The hill panels were die-cut using Landscape Trio Creative Cuts.  The tops of the hills were lightly ink blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide. The sentiment from the Snow Friends stamp set was stamped with the same ink.

The background panel was ink blended with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides.

I added splatters of white ink on all the panels to add snow.

To finish, I assembled the card as shown, and adhered the colored images as shown.

Thank you for visiting me today! I hope you enjoyed my project.

Visit the Mama Elephant blog to check out what the rest of the talented design team has come up with using the new Snow Friends set.

Happy stamping and have an awesome day!
Hugs, Amy :)

  1. Hello Amy, this card looks so amazing. It will be great if you could share more information about how you created the dome shape to look like the snow globe, how is the front vellum panel standing so perfectly upright and how did you create the base to stand the subsequent layers straight up. Will be great to try this adorable card.

  2. I agree with Neha. This is a super cute card and I would love to know how to make it.

  3. This is spectacular.. wow. I agree with the above ladies, how on earth did you make the card mechanism? I am blown away!
