MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 465

Hello there! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you will play along with us!

My card inspired by the sketch:

To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from Reinder Games stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

For the A2 sized front panel, I ink blended it using Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide with the Pine Tree Forest Stencil. I added a trimmed panel of Wild Cherry cardstock to match the sketch.

The tag was made using the Treat Tag Die-namics. I ink blended it using Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers. The snowdrift panels were die-cut using dies from the Snow Drift Die-namics. After, I added splatters of white paint to create snow.

The sentiment from the Reindeer Games was heat embossed on Wild Cherry Cardstock and die-cut using a die from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.

To assemble the tag, I adhered the snowdrift panels, colored images, and the sentiment as shown using doubled sided tape or foam tape.

Lastly, I foam mounted the finished tag to the front panel.

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my project.

Hello and welcome to the MFT's  November Hits and Highlights.

The challenge for this month:

Winter Wishes
Christmas is really a full season for many of us, not a single day, so if you’re still thinking of whipping up some holiday cards, we’ve got you covered. Hits & Highlights this month is all about bringing the feel of winter to your holiday with a cool palette featuring blues, pinks, and purples — bring a little shiver of delight with wintry colors evocative of falling snow and twinkling lights.

My card inspired by the challenge:

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the BB Snow Buddies stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides. The snowdrifts were created using Drifts and Hill stencil. I added splatters of white paint to create snow. I also used Stardust Stickles to add some sparkle. Once dried, I heat embossed the sentiment from BB Snow Buddies stamp set.
