MFT - DECEMBER HITS AND HIGHLIGHTS

Hello and welcome to the MFT's  November Hits and Highlights.

The challenge for this month:

Ring in the new year with glamorous looks that feature lots of shimmer & shine. Use any of our glittered card stocks, metallic card stocks, foil dies, or technique of your choice to create unforgettable looks that sparkle.

My card inspired by the challenge:

To begin making the card I white heat embossed the flowers from the Rose Garden stamp set on kraft card stock and colored them with colored pencils. After I used a white gel pen to add white dots as shown. Then, I die-cut the panel using a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1 Die-namics

The sentiment "Hello" was die-cut using the Little Hello Die-namics using Gold Sparkle Card Stock and white cardstock. I adhered them together.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the front panel to a A2 sized top folding panel and on top of that I foam mounted the sentiment.

MFT - DECEMBER THE BIRTHDAY PROJECT

Hello! I'm back again with the latest The Birthday Project challenge for MFT. The theme for this month is CAS Wishes.

CAS Wishes
We’re a bit busy this time of year…just us? Clean and simple cards are not only appealing, they can also be put together in minimal time (OK, the design process might take just as long but the assembly is quicker…right? Right??) so they are a great option when time is short, and you’d prefer to use fewer supplies to minimize clean up. Clean and simple is the theme this month — take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to see what you can come up with!

To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped image from the SY It's Mice Time to Celebrate stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating SY It's Mice Time to Celebrate Die-namics.

For the colorful dots on the front panel, I used the Snowfall - Vertical Stencil along with Distress Oxide. After, I stamped the sentiment from the SY It's Mice Time to Celebrate.

To finish, I foam mounted the colored image to the card front as shown.

As always it's a fun challenge! I hope you'll play along with us. Visit the MFT Blog for information on The Birthday Project challenge and for more inspiration from the participating design team members.

Thank you for visiting me today!
Happy stamping!!
