ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - DASHIN THRU THE SNOW

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's October Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Dashin Thru the Snow stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the 
Dashin Thru the Snow stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Dashin Thru the Snow CC.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and die-cut with a frame die from the Basic Rectangle CC. After, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Dashin Thru the Snow stamp set.

The snowy hill panel was die-cut on an angle using the hill border from the Landscape Trio CC.

To assemble the card, I adhered the hill border to the front panel and foam mounted the colored images as shown.

To finish, I added splatters of white paint to create snow.

MAMA ELEPHANT OCTOBER RELEASE STAMPEDE


Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

My card today features the new adorable Little Gnome Agenda stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Little Gnome Agenda stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Little Gnome Agenda CC.

For the background panel, I trimmed light blue cardstock and ink blended just the top with Distress Oxide.

The house panel was die-cut using kraft cardstock with Ornate House Grid CC. I ink blended the edges with Distress Oxide.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the stamps from the new Snow Much Fun stamp set on red cardstock and die-cut it with a die from the Snow Much Fun CC.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the house panel, the sentiment, and the colored images to the background panel as shown.

To finish, I created a snowy scene using a white gel pen.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CAHLLENGE 511

  Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you'll play along.

                                                   My card inspired by the sketch 511



To begin, I Copic colored the stamped bear from the Fox and Friends stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.

The houses and trees were die-cut using Tiny Houses Die-namics with MFT card stocks and assembled them as shown.

The snowdrift panel was die-cut using the Stitched Slimline Snow Die-namics. After, I stamped the sentiment from the My Neck Of the Wood stamp set (from the Fox and Friends Card Kit Exclusive).

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides.

The patterned paper panel is from the Gift Wrap Paper Pad and I trimmed it to fit the sketch. After, I adhered it to a top folding A2 card base.

To assemble the card, I adhered the trees, the snowdrift panel and foam mounted the houses and the colored images as shown. I added splatters of white paint to create a snowy scene. To finish, I adhered the front panel to the card base.

MFT - Fox and Friends Card Kit Release Day

 Hello crafty friends, the adorable MFT's October Card Kit - Fox and Friends is now available for purchase HERE.

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Fox and Friends stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and I added splatters of white paint to create snow.

The snow drift panels were die-cut using the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics and trimmed to fit an A2 card size. After, I stamped the sentiment from the Fox and Friends stamp set. 

To assemble the card I adhered and foam mounted the snow drift panels and the colored images as shown to create my scene.

MFT - FOX AND FRIENDS CARD KIT DAY 1

  Hello and welcome to MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 1! The Fox and Friends Card Kit will be available for purchase tomorrow on October, 13th, 10AM EDT.

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Fox and Friends stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended using the cloud stencil with the Berrylicious Premium Dye ink. Then it was die-cut with a die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. After, I stamped the sentiment from the Fox and Friends stamp set.

For the circle patterned panel, I used the Gift Wrap Paper Pad and die-cut it with a die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

To make the circle card base, I used a die from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namic and did partial die-cutting to keep the top attached.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the colored images to the front panel. Then, I adhered the circle patterned paper to the card base. On top of the patterned paper, I adhered the front panel as shown.

MFT OCTOBER CARD KIT - DAY 2

 Hello and welcome to MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 2! The Fox and Friends Card Kit will be available for purchase on October, 13th, 10AM EDT.

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Fox and Friends stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also Copic colored the stamped image from the My Neck Of The Woods (Kit exclusive) and cut it out with a scissor. 

The snow globe was die-cut using the Classic snow Globe Die-namics with Berrylicious and White card stocks. I ink blended the Berrylicous die-cut panels with Berrylicous Premium Dye Ink to darken the color. The taller snowdrift panel was die-cut with a die from the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namic and used the non-sitiched side.

The sentiment from the Fox and Friends stamp set was stamped on the trimmed front panel with Jelly Bean Green Premium Dye Ink.

To assemble the card, I adhered the snowglobe to the front panel. After, I adhered the front panel to a trimmed patterned paper from the Gift Wrap Paper Pad. 

Lastly, I added white dots with a gel pen to create snow on the globe.

MFT AND FRIENDS - OCTOBER RELEASE

Hello and welcome to the MFT and  Friends featuring the October Release.

My card today features the SY Flurry of Love stamp set.


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the SY Flurry of Love stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides.

The snowdrift panels were die-cut using the dies from the SY Flurry of Love Die-namics. I lightly ink blended the top with Distress Oxide. After, I stamped the sentiment from the SY Flurry of Love stamp set.

To assemble the card, I adhered the snowdrift panel and the colored images to the card front as shown. To finish, I added splatters of white paint to create snow.

MFT - OCOTBER RELEASE COUNDTOWN DAY 1

 Hello and welcome to the MFT October Release Countdown!  There's only one day left until the amazing release goes live. The new products will be available tomorrow, October 6th at 10AM EDT. Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog every day during the countdown to see the full reveal. 


To begin I Copic colored the stamped images from the Polar Opposites stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and I heat embossed the sentiment from the Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas stamp set. 

To make the two snowdrift panels, I used the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the snowdrifts panels and the colored images to the front panel as shown.

MFT - OCTOBER RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 2

Hello and welcome to the MFT October Release Countdown!  There are two days left until the amazing release goes live. The new products will be available on Tuesday, October 6th at 10AM EDT. Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog every day during the countdown to see the full reveal.  


To begin making the card I Copic colored the stamped image from the PI Reindeer Games stamp set and die-cut with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was trimmed with a patterned paper from the new Christmas Cheer Paper Pad and adhered to a top folding A2 size card base.

For the tag panels, I used the Treat Tag Die-namics with a patterned paper from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad, Vellum, and Sno Cone card stock and assembled as shown.

The sentiment from the PI Reindeer Games stamp set was hear embossed on Red Hot card stock 

To assemble the card, I adhered the tag to the front panel and foam mounted the colored image and the sentiment as shown.

MFT - OCOTOBER RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 3

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Warm Hugs and Frosty Kisses stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

For the front panel, I trimmed kraft card stock to A2 size and heat embossed the sentiment from the Warm Hugs and Frosty Kisses stamp see. 

For the white panel, I die-cut A2 size white card stock with a die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I lightly ink blended the top with Distress Oxide.

To assemble the card, I adhered the white panel to the front panel and foam mounted the colored images as shown. To finish, I added splatters of white paint to create snow.
