MFT - FEBRUARY RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 4

Hello and welcome to the MFT February Release Countdown!  All of the amazing products will be available on Tuesday, February 4th at 10AM EDT. Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog every day during the countdown to see the full reveal.


My card today features the adorable SY Sweet Shop stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the SY Sweet Shop stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics.

To create the brick wall front panel, I used the Small Brick Wall Stencil with Texture Paste on Cement Gray card stock.

The sentiment from the SY Sweet Shop stamp set was white heat embossed on Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock.

To assemble the card, I adhered trimmed panels of Smooth White and Cement Gray Card Stocks to the front panel. After, I foam mounted the colored images and sentiment to the card front as shown.

MFT - FEBRUARY RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 5

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that features the adorable BB Birthday Buds stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped bunny from the BB Birthday Buds stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended using the Cloud Stencil with a combination of Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides. I also added splatters of the same ink mixed with water.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the BB Birthday Buds stamp set with silver embossing powder.

To finish, I foam mounted the colored image to the front panel as shown

ME DESIGNER SERIES - PINATA PARTY

Hello crafty friends! I'm here today sharing a fun birthday shaker card for the Mama Elephant Designer Series. My project features the adorable Pinata Party set from the recent January release.



To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Pinata Party stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Pinata Party Creative Cuts.

The A2 sized background panel was ink blended with Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides. Then, I decorated the panel with the stamps from the Pinata Party stamp set using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.

To make the front window frame, I die-cut white card stock with a frame die from the Framed Tags Hug It Out Creative Cuts. After, I adhered a layer of acetate behind the frame. 

I die-cut the sentiment "YAY" using pink glitter cardstock with Whimsy Alphas Creative Cuts. The sentiment "Party Time" from Birthday Messages was stamped on green cardstock and trimmed.

To assemble the card, I added the colored jewels to the background panel and foam mounted the front window panel on top. Then, I adhered the sentiments and the colored images to the front panel as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - HAPPY CHIC WISHES

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's January Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design is showcasing the adorable Happy Chic Wishes stamp set.


 To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped bunny on the cloud from the Wish Upon a Star stamp set and cut it out with the coordinating Wish Upon a Star CC.

The A2 sized front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides. Once dried, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Happy Chic Wishes stamp set using silver and white embossing powders.

The vellum clouds were die-cut using the Puffy Clouds CC.

To assemble the card, I glued on the vellum clouds to the front panel and I foam mounted the colored image as shown.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 473

Hello! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you will play along with us!

 

My card inspired by the sketch:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped girl from the BB Green Pastures and animals and the hay from PI Farmer Girl stamp sets and cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics. The shirt on the girl was paper pierced using the patterned paper from the Petite Plaid Paper Pack.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides. I created the grass using the Grassy Edges Stencil. After, I stamped the sentiment from the BB Green Pastures stamp set with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Premium Dye Ink.

I die-cut Kraft cardstock wit the Farm Fence Dienamics to make the fence.

To assemble the card, I glued on the fence and foam mounted the colored images to the front panel as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - PINATA PARTY

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's January Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design is showcasing the adorable Pinata Party stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Pinata Party stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Pinata Party CC.

The front panel was die-cut with the Confetti Cover CC. After I used a die-cut a circle using a die from the Basic Circle CC to create an opening for the shaker window. I adhered trimmed acetate behind the panel to cover the window.

The background panel was ink blended with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide and I used Copic markers to color in the small circles.

The sentiment "Big Birthday Wishes" from the Birthday Messages was white heat embossed on gray cardstock and die-cut with a die from Sentiment Strips CC.

To assemble the card, I added sequins to the circle area of the background panel and I foam mounted the front panel on top. On top of the front panel, I foam mounted the sentiment and the colored images as shown.

MFT JANUARY 2020 VAULT RELEASE DAY

Hello and welcome to the January Vault Release Day.  All of the amazing products are now available for purchase at the MFT Shop.

We’re opening up the MFT Vault, and we can’t wait to reveal what’s inside. With 13 years of experience under our belts, we’re thrilled to rediscover some classic MFT designs, and share them with you all over again! We might unearth an old favorite with a new twist, or possibly a brand-new-to-you design you missed out on in the past. We’re confident that this month’s vault contains something you’ll love...are you ready to see what treasure awaits? 
We're switching things up with a new vault release schedule — quarterly vault releases that allow for bonus-sized collections. We are bringing back such a fun assortment of products with this release, and we can't wait to share all sixteen (!) products along with an incredible lineup of projects from the team over the coming days.

My card today features the adorable Party Animals set along with the Barn Die-namics. 

To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Party Animal stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics.

The clouds on the front panel were ink blended using the Cloud Stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide.

The barn was die-cut using the Barn Die-namics using Wild Cherry and Smooth White card stock. For inside the barn I adhered trimmed Lemon Chiffon card stock.  

I made the grass panel using a die from the Grassy Hills Die-namic with Gum Drop Green card stock.

For the sentiment, I ink blended a strip of trimmed paper with Broken China Distress Oxide. After I  white heat embossed the sentiment from the Party Animal stamp set.

To assemble the card, I adhered the grass panel and the barn to the front panel. After, I foam mounted the sentiment and the colored images as shown.

MFT JANUARY 2020 VAULT RELEASE - DAY 1

Hello and welcome to the January MFT Vault Release Day 1!

My project today features the adorable PI Farmer Girl set and the Barn Die-namics. 


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the PI Farmer Girl stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.

I die-cut the barn pieces using the Barn Die-namics with Wild Cherry and Kraft Card card stock.  I ink blended the edges using Wild Cherry and Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Inks. 

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides. I used the Grass Edges Stencil to create the grass. After, I stamped the sentiment from the PI Farmer Girl Stamp set on the panel.

To finish, I adhered the assembled barn and foam mounted the colored images as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - ZODIAC TIGER

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's January Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design is featuring the adorable Zodiac Tiger stamp set.


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped tigers from the Zodiac Tiger stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Zodiac Tige Creative Cuts.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and I add splatters of water to create texture.
Once dried, I stamped the "Let's Get" using the Color Me Letters stamp set. 

The letters "WILD!" was die-cut using the Whimsy Alphas Creative Cuts.

The leafy vines from the Swinging Borders were stamped and colored with Copics. After, I cut them out with a scissor.

To assemble the card, I adhered the leafy vines and foam mounted the large letters and the colored tigers to the front panel as shown.

MFT JANUARY 2020 VAULT RELEASE - DAY 2

Hello and welcome to the January MFT Vault Release Day 2!

My project today features the adorable PI Love is in the Air stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped image (except her dress) from the PI Love is in the Air stamp set and cut her out with the coordinating Die-namics.  After, I paper pierced her dress using patterned paper from the Sweet Stack Paper Pack.

The hearts in the air were die-cut with the PI Love is in the air Die-namics using Ripe Raspberry card stock.

The bottom panels were made using Ripe Raspberry card stock and patterned paper from the Sweet Stack Paper Pack.

To assemble the card, I adhered A2 sized Cotton Candy cardstock to a card base and adhered the front panel on top. After, I adhered the bottom panels and foam mounted the colored image and the hearts in the air to the front panel as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - ZODIAC RABBIT

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's January Stamp Highlight. Today the design team is featuring the adorable Zodiac Rabbit stamp set.


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Zodiac Rabbit stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Zodiac Rabbit CC.

The front panel was ink blended with Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides. After, I added splatters of the same inks mixed with water.  Once dried the sentiment from the Zodiac Rabbit was stamped on the panel.

The letters "HELLO" was die-cut using colored card stock with the new Whimsy Alphas CC

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the sentiment "HELLO" and the colored images to the front panel as shown.
