MFT - FEBRUARY THE BIRTHDAY PROJECT

Hello! I'm back again with the latest The Birthday Project challenge for MFT. The theme for this month is Cards with Heart.

Cards with Heart:
Hearts are a universal symbol of love. While February is typically thought of as a month to celebrate Valentine's Day type of love, birthday cards can also be thought of as an expression of our love for the birthday boy or girl. Hearts abound this month as our team has been busy crafting birthday cards featuring hearts.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped the pig from the SY Piggy Pebbles and the balloon from the SY Kissing Booth stamp sets and cut them out with the coordinating die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and I added splatters of ink to add interest.

The sentiment from the SY Piggy Pebbles was heat embossed on Black Licorice Prestige card stock. After it was die-cut with a die from the Starburst Sentiment Strips.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front layer to a top folding card base. To finish, I foam mounted the colored images and the sentiment to the front layer as shown.

As always it's a fun challenge! I hope you'll play along with us. Visit the MFT Blog for information on The Birthday Project challenge and for more inspiration from the participating design team members.

Thank you for visiting me today!

Happy stamping!!
