MFT COLOR CHALLAENGE 142

Hello there! It's time for a fun new Color Challenge #141 from MFT. I hope you'll play along!


To begin making the card, I stamped the butterfly using the stamps from the Brilliant Butterflies stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.

On the front panel, I stamped the large vines, clusters of dandelion, and flowers using the stamps from the Dandelion Greenery stamp set.  Then, I die-cut the panel with a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. After, I stamped the sentiment "Thinking of You" from the Happy Hummingbirds stamp set.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to an A2 sized Kraft cardstock. To finish, I foam mounted the butterfly on top as shown.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 491

Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you will play along with us.


My card inspired by the sketch:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the BB Space Explorers and die-cut them with the coordinating die-namics.

The A2 sized front panel was ink blended using Distress Oxides. I added splatters of white paint to create the stars.

The white moon was die-cut with a die from the As Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  I added some color with Distress Oxide.

The sentiment "I'm Over the Moon for You" from the BB Space Explorers was heat embossed and trimmed.

To assemble the card, I adhered the moon to the front panel and the colored images, and the sentiment was foam mounted as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - ZODIAC PIG

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's May Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the adorable Zodiac Pig stamp set. 


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Zodiac Pig stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Zodiac Pig CC.

The A2 sized front panel was die-cut with the window die from the Frilly Window Frame CC.  I removed the die-cut and ink blended the panel using a brick stencil and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide. After, I adhered the die-cut window to the panel.

The grass panel was die-cut with a die from the Grassy Trio CC. I added white dots on the panel with a gel pen to add interest.

The sentiment from the Zodiac Pig stamp set was stamped on a trimmed light blue background panel.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the front panel to the background panel, and foam mounted the colored images inside the window. Lastly, I adhered the grass panel as shown.

MET STAMP HIGHLIGHT - MY PET PUPPIES

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's May Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is featuring the adorable My Pet Puppies stamp set. 


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the My Pet Puppies stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating My Pet Puppies CC.


The scalloped front panel was die-cut with a large frame die from the Frilly Window Frame CC. I ink blended the panel with Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachios Distress Oxides. I spritzed the panel with water to create texture. Once dried, I stamped the sentiment from the My Pet Puppies stamp set. 

To make the cute little box, I die-cut kraft cardstock with a box die from the All Prettied Up Creative Cuts.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the box and the colored images to the front panel. To finish, I adhered the front panel to a top folding white card base.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 490

Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you will play along with us.


My card inspired by the challenge:


To begin, I Copic colored the Gnome from the BB Hanging with My Gnomes stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.

I made the rainbow using the Rainbow Whimsy Die-namics with MFT cardstocks (colors listed under supplies)

The rectangle frame was die-cut using a die from the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics with Cotton Candy cardstock.

The sentiment from BB Hanging with My Gnomes stamp set was heat embossed on Black Licorice cardstock and trimmed.

To assemble the card, I adhered the Cotton Candy frame to the front panel. Then, I foam mounted the rainbow, the sentiment, and the colored gnome as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - STEMS AND SPRIGS

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's May Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is featuring the Stems and Sprigs stamp set and the Botanic Envelope CC
 


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped flowers from the Stems and Sprigs stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Stems and Sprigs CC.

The front panel was die-cut with a large frame die from the Frilly Window Frame CC. I covered the sides with washi tape and stamped the leaves from the  Stems and Sprigs stamp set and little dots with Copic markers to create a patterned background.

The envelope and the leaves were die-cut with the dies from the Botanic Envelope CC.  I assembled the envelope as shown and stamped the sentiment from the  Stems and Sprigs stamp set.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the envelope with the flowers and leaves inside to the front panel. Then, I adhered the front panel to an A2 sized colored card stock panel.

MFT - MAY VAULT RELEASE DAY


MFT May vault releases are now available for purchase!


My card today features the fun Fishbowl Die-namics and You're Fintastic stamp set from the vault.


To begin, I used the Fishbowl Die-namics to die-cut the fishbowl card base by doing partial die-cutting. Then, I die-cut all the pieces that are inside the bowl to create an aquatic scene. 

I ink blended the fishbowl with Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink. After, I heat embossed the sentiment from You're Fintastic stamp set as shown.

The front water panel was ink blended with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. I spritzed the panel with water to create texture.

To the fish, I added googly eyes and dots on the body with a Copic marker. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to the fishbowl, Then I adhered the aquatic plants and the water bubbles. After, I foam mounted the gravel and the fish. To finish, I added Glossy Accents to the bubbles and clear droplets as shown.

MFT - MAY VAULT RELEASE DAY 1

Hello and welcome to the MFT December Vault Release Countdown Day 1.


My card features the adorable BB Class Act set from the vault.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped girl from the BB Class Act stamp set and die-cut with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was stamped with the smaller images from the BB Class Act stamp set with MFT Premium Dye Inks. After I die-cut the panel with a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.

The sentiment from the BB Class Act was white heat embossed on Blue Yonder Card Stock and die-cut with a die from the Fishtail Flad Trio Die-namics.

To finish, I adhered the front panel to a A2 sized Blue Yonder panel.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT / ZODIAC DOG

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's May Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is featuring the adorable Zodiac Dog set.


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Zodiac Dog stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Zodiac Dog CC

The scallop, front and the hill panel were die-cut using the Slim Card Basics CC.

The front panel was ink blended with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides. 

The hill panel was die-cut using green cardstock and I stamped the sentiment " It's Paw-ty Time" from the Zodiac Dog.

The scalloped panel was die-cut using Kraft cardstock.

To assemble the card, I adhered scallop panel to a top folding card base.  On top of the scallop panel, I adhered the front panel. On the front panel, I adhered the hill panel and foam mounted the colored images. To finish, I adhered a few star confetti as shown.

MFT - MAY VAULT RELEASE DAY 2

Hello and welcome to the MFT December Vault Release Countdown Day 2.



Today my card features the adorable BB Everyday is a Picnic set from the vault.


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images using Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink from BB Everyday is a Picnic stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was ink blended with using the Cloud Stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide. After, I stamped the sentiment "Life is a Picnic" from the BB Everyday is a Picnic using Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink.

The grass panel was die-cut with Tucked-in-Turf Vertical Die-namics using the Sour Apple Card Stock. The tips of the grass were ink blended using the Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.

To finish, I foam mounted the grass panel and the colored images to the front panel as shown.
