MFT COLOR CHALLENGE #148

Hi there!

It's time for a fun new MFT Color Challenge #148. I hope you'll play along!

My card inspired by the challenge:




To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Boo Crew and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics. 

The A2 sized front panel made with trimmed Steel Gray card stock. I added splatters of white paint and added dots with a Copic Marker.

I adhered the front panel with a die-cut web made with Grout Gray cardstock and the Spider Web Cover Die-namics.

The sentiment from the Boo Crew was heat embossed in white on Steel Gray card stock and die-cut with a die from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.

To finish, I foam mounted the colored images with the sentiment to the front panel as shown.

MFT - BETTER TOGETHER CARD KIT RELEASE DAY

 Hello and welcome to the MFT Better Together Card Kit Release Day. The Kit is now available for purchase at the MFT Shop. 

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Better Together stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

For the front panel, I trimmed Berrylicious card stock to an A2 Size. After I ink blended it using the Cloud Stencil with Tropical Teal Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together on the panel as shown.

The car was made with Carpool Dienamics using Electric Red, Tickled Pink and Primitive White card stocks and assembled as shown. After, I adhered colored images in and around the car.

The snowy hill was made using white cardstock and a die from the Under the Sea Die-namics.

The road was made with the On the Road Die-namics using Steel Gray Cardstock. After, I adhered it to the snowy hill panel.

To assemble the card, I adhered the Snowy hill with the road panel and the trees to the front panel and foam mounted the car with the animals as shown.

MFT - BETTER TOGETHER CARD KIT DAY 1

Hello and welcome to the MFT Better Together Card Kit Countdown Day 1. The Kit will be available for purchase tomorrow, August, 25 at 10AM EDT at the MFT Shop. 

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Better Together Stamp set and die-cut with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was die-cut with a die from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics with Berrylicious card stock.  I ink blended it with Tropical Teal Premium Dye Ink.

The snowdrifts were die-cut using a die from the Under the Sea Die-namics. I ink blended the tops lightly with Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together stamp set on the shorter snowdrift.

To assemble the card, I adhered the snowdrifts to the front panel and added the colored images as shown to make my scene. After, I added splatters of diluted white paint to create snow. To finish, I adhered the front panel to a top folding card base that I made using a die from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics.

Hello and welcome to the MFT Better Together Card Kit Countdown Day 2.  The Kit will be available for purchase on Tuesday, August, 25 at 10AM EDT.

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Better Together stamp set and die-cut them with coordinating Die-namics.

The road panel was made using the On the Road Die-namics with Steel Gray Card Stock. 

The car was made using the Carpool Die-namics with patterned paper from the Road Trippin Paper Pad and Berrylicous Card Stock and assembled as shown.

The sentiment from Better Together stamp set was stamped on Berrylicious cardstock and trimmed.

To assemble the card, I adhered the road to a top folding card base. After, I adhered the colored images, the car and the sentiment with double-sided and foam tape to create my scene as shown.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 503

 Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you'll play along.

My card inspired by the sketch:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Autumn Blessing stamp set and die-cut them the coordinating Die-namics.

The patterned paper on the front panel is from the Creepy Confections Paper Pad, and I trimmed it to fit the sketch.

The sentiment from the Autumn Blessing was heat embossed on Milk Chocolate Brown card stock and trimmed.

To assemble the card, I adhered the patterned paper panel to a top folding A2 sized card base. Then, I adhered and foam mounted the colored images along with the sentiment as shown.

MFT - AUGUST VAULT RELEASE DAY

 MFT August Vault release is now available for purchase here at the MFT Shop.

My card today features the fun Seaside Seagulls stamp set from the Vault.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Seaside Seagulls stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.
The circle-shaped front panel was die-cut using the die from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics. I added the clouds using the Mini Cloud Stencil with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. After, I stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Seagull as shown.
The waves were die-cut using the die from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics, and Ocean Waves Die-namics with Heavyweight Blu Raspberry Card Stock. I ink blended the tips of the waves with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. 
To assemble the card, I adhered the wave panels and the colored images to the front panel as shown.

MFT - AUGUST VAULT RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 1

Hello and welcome to the MFT August Vault Release Countdown Day 1.

My card today features the BB Polynesian Paradise stamp set and the Tiki Hut Die-namics from the vault.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the BB Polynesian Paradise stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics,

The front panel was ink blended using the Drifts and Hills and the Cloud Stencils with Distress Oxides. I added splatters of diluted ink to the sand area to create texture.

The tiki hit was made using the Tiki Hut Die-namics with Gumdrop Green and Kraft cardstocks. I ink blended the tops of the hut with Jellybean Premium Dye Ink.

The sentiment from the BB Polynesian Paradise stamp set was heat embossed on Milk Chocolate cardstock and die-cut with a die from the  Skinny Strips Die-namics.

To finish, I adhered the tiki hut and foam mounted the colored images and the sentiment to the front panel as shown.

MFT - AUGUST VAULT RELEASE DAY 2

     Hello and welcome to the MFT August Vault Release Countdown Day 2.

Today we're excited to kick off the August Vault Release Countdown — the BIGGEST Vault Release ever. We're so thrilled to re-introduce some MFT classics. Whether you missed out on them the first time they were released, or are new to MFT since they were retired, you're sure to discover some must-have items in this HUGE collection.

My card today features the BB Party Like a Pirate stamp set and the Beach Scene Builder Die-namics.


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the BB Party Like a Pirate and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

To create the clouds on the front panel, I ink blended it using Broken China Distress Oxide with the Mini Cloud Stencil. After, I stamped the seagulls and sentiment from the Party Like a Pirate stamp set with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink.

The wave panels were die-cut with Ocean Motion Die-namics and ink blended with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxides. The front wave panel was die-cut with a die from the Beach Scene Builder to create the sand area. I ink blended it with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. After, I added splatters of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide mixed with water.  

The palm tree with the coconuts were die-cut using the dies from the Beach Scene Builder with Gum Drop Green card stock and Milk Chocolate card stock. I ink blended inside of the leaves with Jellybean Green Premium Dye Ink and assembled the tree as shown. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the wave panels, the ship and the palm tree, and foam mounted the rest of the colored images to the front panel as shown.

MFT COLOR CHALLENGE 146

 Hello there! It's time for a fun new Color Challenge #147 from MFT. I hope you'll play along!

My card inspired by the challenge:

To begin, I die-cut the fall foliage frame using the Lots of Leaves Cover-Up Die-namics with Lemon Drop card stock. I ink blended it using Persimmon Premium Dye Ink.

For the background panel, I trimmed Whip Cream card stock to an A2 size and added splatters of thinned Lemon Drop and Persimmon Dye Inks. Once dried, I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Blessings with Chocolate Brown Hybrid Ink.  

To finish, I adhered the front frame to the background panel as shown.
