ME STAMP HGHLIGHT - HOLIDAY WORD BANNERS

Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Holiday Word Banners stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored stamped images from the Little Fox Agenda, Me and my Yeti stamp sets and die-cut them with the coordinating Creative Cuts.

I stamped the sentiments from the Holiday Word Banners stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Creative Cuts.

For the birch trees, I used the stamp from the Let It Snow stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Creative Cuts.

The snowdrifts were die-cut using the die from the Landscape Trio CC. I ink blended the tops of the drifts lightly with Distress Oxides.

The front panel was die-cut with a frame die from the Slim Window Dressing CC. I ink blended it with Distress Oxides.

To assemble the card, I adhered the birch trees, and the hill panels and foam mounted the colored images and the word banners to the front panel as shown to create my scene. To finish, I added splatters of white paint to create a snowing scene.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - BEST GIFT EVER

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the stamp sweet Best Gift Ever stamp set.  


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Best Gift Ever stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Best Gift Ever CC.

The front panel was die-cut with a frame die from the Frilly Window Frame CC. I ink blended it with Distress Oxides and added splatters of ink. Once dried, I stamped the sentiment from the Best Gift Ever stamp set.

To assemble the card, I adhered the colored images to the front panel and foam mounted the front pane to a top folding A2 size kraft card base.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - TOASTY FRIENDS

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Toasty Friends stamp set. 


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the 
Toasty Friends stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Toasty Friends CC

The front panel was made using trimmed patterned paper and cardstock and I adhered it to a top folding A2 size card base. After, I stamped the sentiment from the Toasty Friends stamp set.

To finish, I adhered and foam mounted the colored images to the card front to create my scene as shown.

MFT COLOR CHALLENGE #150

 Hi there!

It's time for a fun new MFT Color Challenge #150. I hope you'll play along!

My card inspired by the challenge:


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the BB Fall Friends and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

For the front panel, I used the rectangle Extraordinaire and Ink blended it with Premium Dye Inks.  Then, I stamped the leaves from the BB Fall Friends and colored them in with Copics. After, I added splatters of Orange Zest Ink and stamped the sentiment from the BB Fall Friends stamp set.

To assemble the card, I foam the colored images to the front panel and foam mounted the front panel to an A2 size top folding kraft cardstock.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - SANTA BABY

  Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Santa Baby stamp set. 



To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Santa Baby and Toasty Friends stamp sets and die-cut them with the coordinating Santa Baby and Toasty Friends CC.

I ink blended the front panel using a  Brick Stencil and Distress Oxides. Then, die-cut the panel with a frame die from the All Prettied Up CC. After, I stamped the sentiment from the Toasty Friends stamp sets.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to a trimmed A2 size red card stock.  On top of the front panel, I adhered the colored images to create my scene.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALENGE 508

 Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you'll play along.

                                                   My card inspired by the sketch: 



To begin, I Copic colored the stamped snowman from the BB Present Time stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.

For the front panel, I used patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pad. 

The two circles panels were die-cut using A2 Circle STAX Die-namics with Limelight card stock and patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pad. The rectangle panel was trimmed using Ripe Raspberry card stock.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to a top folding A2 size card base. After, I adhered the rectangle panel along with the two circle panels to match the sketch. Lastly, I adhered the snowman to the card front as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - SINCERELY YOURS

  Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Sincerely Yours stamp set. 


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the 
Sincerely Yours stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Sincerely Yours CC.

I trimmed the front panel to a 4" x 81/2". Then, I used a brick stencil with Distress Oxides to create the wall. After, I created the windows, the frames, and the curtains using the dies from the Slim window Dressing CC and assembled them as shown.

The background panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides.

To assemble the card, I adhered the colored images to the background panel and foam mounted the front panel with the windows to the background panel as shown.

MFT SEPTEMBER CARD KIT - RELEASE DAY

Hello crafty friends! MFT Merry and Bright card kits are now available at the MFT Shop.

Before you go I have one more card to share with you using some of the products from the kit.


To begin, I die-cut the lights using the Christmas Lights Die-namics with Holly Jolly Card Stock and Cement Gray card stock.

On the A2 size front panel, I heat embossed the sentiment in silver using the kit exclusive Let's Get Lit stamp. Then, I added splatters of ink mixed with water to create more interest.

To finish, I adhered the strings and foam mounted the lights to the front panel as shown.

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Oh Penguin Tree stamp set. 



To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Oh Penguin Tree stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Oh Penguin Tree CC.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and I stamped the sentiment from the Oh Penguin Tree stamp set. 

To finish, I adhered the colored penguin tree to the front panel and added white dots with a gel pen to create snow.

MFT SEPTEMBER CARD KIT - DAY 1

 Hello and welcome to MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 1! The Merry & Bright Card Kit will be available tomorrow for purchase on September, 22, 10AM EDT.

My card inspired by the kit:

To begin, I die-cut the bird using the Holly Jolly Cardinals Die-namics and the Holly Berries die-namics ( Free with $60 gift releasing with the September 2020 kit) and assembled them as shown.

For the front panel, I used trimmed patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pad and I die-cut the circles using the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics.

The sentiment from the Merry & Bright stampset was heat embossed and die-cut with a die from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the front panel to an A2 sized trimmed Summer Splash card stock. Then, I adhered and foam mounted the bird, branch, holly berries and the sentiment to the card front as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - LET IT SNOW

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's September Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Let It Snow stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the  Let It Snow stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Let It snow CC.

The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides .

The snow drift panels were die-cut with the dies from the Landscape Trio CC. I used the non-stitched side and ink blended the topof the panels lightly with Distress Oxide.

The sentiment "Let it Snow" was die-cut using the die included in the Let It snow CC.

To assemble the card, I adhered and foam mounted the colored images, sentiment, and the snow drift panel to create the scene. To finish, I added white dots with a gel pen to create snow.

MFT SEPTMEBER CARD KIT - DAY 2

Hello and welcome to MFT Card Kit Countdown Day 2! The Merry & Bright Card Kit will be available for purchase on September, 22, 10AM EDT.

My card inspired by the kit:


To begin, I die-cut the Christmas lights using the Christmas Lights Die-namics with Cement Gray, Ripe Raspberry, Green Room, and Summer Splash card stocks. I Copic colored the edge die-cuts to create contrast in the lights. After, I used a white gel pen to add the highlight. I assembled the lights as shown.

The front panel was die-cut using one of the dies from the A2 Stitched Rectangle.

The A2 size background panel was trimmed using patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pad. 

The sentiment from the Merry &Bright was stamped with Red Hot Premium Dye Ink and die-cut with a Phase Builder Die-namics. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the background panel to a top folding cardbase. Then, I adhered the front panel with the die-cut strings. Lastly, I foam mounted the sentiment and the holidays lights as shown.
