ME - MAMMOTH LOVE -DESIGNER SERIES PROJECT

Hello! Amy here with a Designer Series project highlighting the Mammoth Love stamp set. I made a money holder greeting card with a coordinating envelope using the Money Envelope CC.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped image from the Mammoth Love stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Mammoth Love CC.

For the front panel, I trimmed light blue cardstock that measured 3 1/4" x 6 1/4". Then, I ink blended the panel with dye inks and added white dots with a gel pen. 

The sentiment "You Are Loved' was die-cut with the You Are Loved CC using light pink cardstock and lightly ink blended with dye ink.

The stitched drifts were die-cut with the Slim Woodland CC using light blue cardstock and lightly ink blended and trimmed to fit the card. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the sentiment, the drift panels and the colored image to the front panel as shown. Then, I adhered it to a side opening card base. 

Lastly, I made the coordinating envelope using the Money Envelope CC and assembled it as shown.

MFT - COLOR CHALLANGE #154

  Hi there! I'm back with another fun MFT Color Challenge #154.

My card inspired by the challenge:



To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the PI Reindeer Games Stamp Set and Die-cut it with coordinating Die-namics.

I trimmed the front panel to A2 size and added dots with Copic markers. After, I adhered the sentiment that I die-cut using the MFT cardstocks and the Merry and Bright with All the Trimmings Die-namics.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the girl and glued on a few sequins to add sparkle.

25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS TAGS - MFT

 Hello crafty friends! 

Today, MFT is celebrating with Tacey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags (Bonus Day)! Celebrate with us for a chance to win a prize - check out Tracey's Blog for all the details. 

My tags today feature MFT Winter Songbird Stamp Set along with the Gift Tag Die-namics.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Winter Songbird Stamp Set and die-cut with the coordinating Winter Songbird Die-namics. 

For the tags, I die-cut kraft cardstock with the Gift Tags Die-namics. I added white dots to the tags using a gel pen to create snow.

The snowdrifts were die-cut using the die from the Stitched Slimline Snow Die-namics and trimmed to fit the tags. On the shorter panels, I heat embossed the sentiments from the Winter Songbird Stamp Set.

To assemble the card, I adhered and foam mounted the snowdrifts and colored images to the tags as shown. Lastly, I added a bow with a little jingle bell to each tag.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE #517

   Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you'll play along.

    My card inspired by the challenge:

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Polar Opposites Stamp Set and die-cut them coordinating Die-namics.

For the A2 size front panel, I used Sno Cone Cardstock.

The snowdrift panels were die-cut with the Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die-namics and die-cut with a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics to match the sketch. After, I stamped the panel with a snow stamp from the Polar Opposites using Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink.

The sentiment from the Warm Hugs and Frosty Kisses was stamped and trimmed as shown.

To assemble the card, I adhered the snowdrift panel to the front panel and foam mounted the sentiment and colored images on top as shown.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - kISSIE LETTERS

  Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's November Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Kissie Letters Stamp Set.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Oh Kitty Tree stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating 
Oh Kitty Tree CC.

The front panel was die-cut with a die from the Basic Rectangles CC. After, I stamped the sentiment "Merry and Bright" using Kissie Letters Stamp Set. Then I stamped the tree and the ornaments from the O' Tiny Tree and colored with Copics. The faint snowflakes were also stamped using the City Sidewalks stamp set.

To finish, I foam mounted the colored images to the front panel as shown to create my scene.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - ICONIC ORNAMENTS

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's November Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Iconic Ornament Stamp Set.

For today, I created a fun shaker card that can be used as an ornament.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Iconic Ornament Stamp Set and die-cut it with a die from the Stacked Circle CC to create the background panel.

The front frame/shaker window was die-cut using the scallop frame and the big circle die together from the Stacked Circle CC. After, I adhered an acetate that I die-cut with a Scallop Frame and adhered it to the front panel to close the window. 

The sentiment from the Iconic Ornament Stamp Set was heat embossed and trimmed with a die from the Sentiment Strips CC.

To assemble the card, I foam mounted the shaker window to the background panel with added glitter for the shaker element. To finish, I adhered the die-cut sentiment strip to the card front as shown.

MFT - NOVEMBER OUTSIDE THE BOX

 Hello! I'm back with a fun MFT - Outside the Box challenge. The challenge is to create a Holiday themed Box Card.

My card inspired by the challenge:

To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the SY Sweet Holiday Penguins Stamp Set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

The box card was made using the Outside the Box Level Up and Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics with White, Cotton Candy cardstocks and patterned paper from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad. After, I assembled the box card as shown.

The sentiment was heat embossed on Cotton Candy cardstock and trimmed with a die from the Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics.

To finish, I adhered the colored images to the insert panels to create my scene.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - LUCKY CAT

  Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephants' November Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Lucky Cat Stamp Set. 

Today, I'm sharing a money envelope I made using the Lucky Cat Stamp Set along with the Money Envelope CC.


To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the  Lucky Cat Stamp Set and die-cut them with the coordinating Lucky Cat CC.

The envelope was made using the dies from the Money Envelope CC. After, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Lucky Cat Stamp Set. 

The gold borders around the envelope was also die-cut using the die from the Money Envelope CC.

To assemble the card, I adhered the gold borders and the colored images to the back of the envelope as shown.

MFT - THE BIRTHDAY PROJECT CHALLENGE

 Hello! I'm back again with the latest The Birthday Project Challenge for MFT. The theme for this month is Shaking Up Your Birthday Routine.

To begin, I ink blended trimmed A2 size background panel using the Basic Shapes Circles Stencil with Distress Oxides.

The front panel was die-cut with a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. After, I die-cut the panel with the Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics.

To close the front panel I adhered trimmed acetate behind it and added foam tape around the edges.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to the background panel with star confetti as a shaker element.

MFT - WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE #516

  Hello, crafty friends! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun MFT Sketch Challenge. I hope you'll play along.

                                                   My card inspired by the sketch #516



To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the SY Christmas Cheer Stamp Set and die-cut them with the coordinating Die-namics.

The front panel was trimmed to match the sketch using Sno Cone cardstock and ink blended with Distress Oxides. 

The sentiment from the SY Chrismas Cheer Stamp Set was hear embossed and die-cut with a die from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.

The snow drift panels were die-cut using the dies from the Snowy Hillside Die-namics and lightly ink blended with Distress Oxides.

To assemble the card, I adhered the front panel to a A2 size panel. Then, I adhered the snow drift panels and foam mounted the sentiment and colored images as shown to match the sketch.

ME STAMP HIGHLIGHT - UP WITH LOVE

 Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephants' November Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is highlighting the Up With Love stamp set. 


To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the 
Up With Love stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Up With Love CC.

For the stamped images, I created a box card that fits in an A2 size envelope. The cloud inserts were made die-cutting a cloud frame from the  Slim Film City CC.

The sentiment from the Up With Love stamp set was stamped on the panel on the front of the box card.

For the cloud panel on the back of the card, I used an acetate stencil I made using the cloud frame from the Slim Film City CC and ink blended it with dye ink. After, I added splatters of dye ink diluted with water.

To finish, I adhered the images to the strips of acetate and adhered it to the box as shown to create my scene.
