Pretty Pink Posh: Sending Hugs

Hello there! Today, I'm sharing a shaker/pop-up card that features the new and fabulous products from Pretty Pink Posh that released May 1st. I used the Woodland Critters set,  Bold Blooms set and the beautiful Spring Meadow sequins mix.

For the front of the card, I started by making the background panel. I distressed white cardstock with Peacock Feathers Distress Inks. I framed the outside with the die-cut cardstock using the larger die from Scallop Frames. For the hill, I die-cut white cardstock with one of the dies from Stitched Borders and distressed with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. For the shaker component, I added Spring Meadow sequins mix as well as some flowers from Bold Blooms set.

For the inside of the folded notecard, I distressed the top with Peacock Feathers and the bottom with Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.  The three hills were die cut with Scallop Borders and distressed with Mowed Lawn. I created my own pop-ups to attach the hills to the card.

I stamped the images with Momento black ink on smooth white cardstock. Please note: I also mirror stamped the bird and squirrel so they could face each other.  I colored them in with Copic markers and cut them out. Then, I adhered all the images to create a colorful forest scene. I added a lot of images to this scene because I wanted that extra "wow" factor when the recipient opens the card.
