Pretty Pink Posh: Warm Holiday Wishes

Hello friends!  Stopping by to share with you a card for the Holidays using Pretty Pink Posh products. It features an adorable Woodland Critters stamp set. This set is so versatile, it can be used all year round for many different occasions.

For today's card I dressed up the critters in warm clothes to create a winter scene. This is a great way to stretch your stamps and get more use out of them. To begin, I stamped the images, then used a Copic Liner to draw in the lines to make scarves and sweaters. I borrowed the hats from Winter Friends and hat and trees from Holiday Pals. The red cardinals are from Christmas Friends . I colored the images with Copic markers.

I inked the background using shades of blue dye inks. Then added splatters of white acrylic paint to make it looks like it's snowing.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and applied white embossing powder that was set with a heat tool.

I die-cut the frame using Scallop Frames, and adhered it with two layers of foam tape. I used single layer of foam tape to adhere the critters.

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!

Pretty Pink Posh: Merry Christmas

Hello there! I have a fun and bright Christmas shaker card to share with you today. It highlights the adorable Christmas Friends and Happy Snowman stamp sets from Pretty Pink Posh.

To begin, I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out. I used white Gelly Roll pen to add accents. The color scheme for the characters and and the background was inspired by the beautiful Holiday Shimmer Sequins Mix that I used as the shaker component.

I blended the background panel using Peacoak Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Inks.  For texture, I splattered some water. To add interest I stamped the snowflakes from Holiday Pals with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder that was set with a heat tool.

The shaker window frame was diecut with the larger frame from Scallop Frames Dies

The sentiment is from Happy Snowman. I stamped the sentiment on Copic colored cardstock with Versamark ink. I applied white embossing powder and set it with a heat tool.

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas card inspiration I made using the wonderful products by Pretty Pink Posh.

 Happy cardmaking!

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Peaceful Wishes

Hello, friends! Today is the last day of Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights and we're featuring the beautiful hand lettered Peaceful Wishes sentiment stamp set.

With the set, I made a Holiday card that is almost flat. This design is great for mass producing and one stamp mailing.

To begin, I trimmed red cardstock to an A2 size panel. I stamped the large sentiment, the smaller sentiment, and the doves with Versamark ink. I applied white embossing powder and set it with a heat tool. I stamped the large sentiment again, slightly sifted to the left and heat set gold embossing powder.

To added more interest to the card, I stamped snowflakes around the outer edges of the card using a stamp from Hollys Snowflakes with Picket Fence Distress Ink. To finish, I glued on clear sparkling sequins.

I attached the adorable tags on a gift boxes I made with the Gable box Creative Cuts. Before assembling the die-cut boxes, I added splatters of white acrylic paint to make it look like it's snowing.

Mama Elephant October 2017 Stampede

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

I have two projects to share with you today for the blog hop. My first project features one of my new favorite critter stamp set, Whimsical Winter and the coordinating CC along with On The Hills CC.

I colored the images with Copic markers and added accents with a white Gelly Roll pen. For the background panel, I inked an A2 size Bristol panel with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and Tattered Rose Distress Ink. After, I splattered white acrylic paint onto the panel and the images with a paint brush to create a snowy look.

For the front panel, I trimmed acetate to 4. 1/4" x to 6.".  I made it little longer than A2 size so that the extra 1/2" could be adhered to the back of the background panel. To hide that and to create space for the sentiment and message, I added a card base behind it. The sentiment stamped inside the card is from the new set, Peaceful Wishes (see photo below).

On the front panel, I adhered die-cut pieces of the hills and clouds using On the Hills Creative Cuts. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Inks on the top of the snowy hills to add some color. I love that the hills and cloud dies included in On The Hills CC die-cuts a perfect size for a vertical A2 size panel.

For the second project, I added fun surprise elements inside the card. I used the new Inside Pop Celebrations CC for an interactive 3D design that's perfect for adding little images. The card also features the Me And My Yeti, Sentiments From A Yeti and Holly's Snowflakes stamp sets.

I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating CC. I die-cut the box, the hills inside, and the balloons using the Inside Pop Celebrations CC.

I inked the front panel with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks, and added splatters of water and white dots for a textured look. Once it dried, I loosely stamped the snowflakes from Holly Snowflakes with white pigment ink. Then, I applied white embossing powder and heat set it. For the sentiment and the banner, I used Sentiments From A Yeti. The banner was die cut with Yeti Banner CC.

Are you ready to see the hidden elements inside the card?

When you open the card, the box with the small images, and the Yeti will pop-up. So fun, right? You can't see it in the picture well, but I also added the snowflakes from Holly's Snowflakes again, I stamped them along the edges of the inside of the card.

How amazing is the new Inside Pop Celebrations CC?  It's so fun and unique, definitely a must have!

Mama Elephant Designer Series: FBA- Santa, Elf, Snow, Deer

Hello everyone! Amy here with a Designer Series project featuring the Favor Bag Accessories, Santa-Elf and Snow-Deer Creative Cuts.

To begin, I trimmed four Bristol papers to A2 size panels. I inked each panel with just one color. Going clockwise in the photo above, I used Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violets, Picked Raspberry, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks. To create a snowy background on the panels, I splattered diluted (with water) Copic Opaque White Ink with a paint brush.

I stamped the sentiment "Season's Greetings" from Christmas Scene with Versamark Ink, applied gold embossing powder and set it with a heat tool. Through this process I learned that embossing powders don't stick to white splatters very well, so going forward I'm going to stamp the sentiment first, cover it with the stamp (so that the the splatters won't get on it), and then add the splatters.

To make the adorable characters for the cards and the gift bags, I die-cut the FBA Santa Elf and Snow-Deer with white and colored cardstocks. I inked the edges of the die-cuts with Distress Inks to create some dimension. I added rosy cheeks with pink chalk that I applied with a Q-tip.  I assembled them as shown in the photos.

To add interest to the cards, I used a Snow Marker that I puffed up with a heat tool on the Santa Claus clothes. I added a small gold bell on the Elf's hat, mini Christmas lights (bought at my local craft store) around the reindeer antlers, and a bow that I made using All Prettied Up Creative Cuts on the snowman.

The next four projects are Holiday gift bags I made with the Favor Bag Creative Cuts and FBA Santa Elf and Snow-Deer Creative Cuts. Like the cards, I die-cut the Favor bags with Bristol paper, inked the backgrounds with Distress Inks and added white splatters.

For each bag, I die-cut white cardstock using the snowflake die from Snow Flurries Creative Cuts. I applied Wink Of Stella to add sparkle. I also die-cut white cardstock using the Mini Tags Creative Cuts. I stamped the tags with different Holiday sentiments from Mini Messages with dye inks. To finish, I added a snowflake and a tag to a twine and tied it around each bag.
