Mama Elephant - November Stampede

I have two cards to share with you featuring the Scripty Notes stamp set. This set has eight charming script sentiments that are great for love themed, like Anniversary and Valentine's day cards.


To begin, I arranged the sentiments on a Misti Stamping Tool on the front panel. I stamped the two trimmed cardstocks with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then, I stamped pink hearts from Pandamonium and red hearts from Honey Bunny with Distress Oxide Inks. I drew in the white hearts with a Gelly Roll pen. 

I stamped the adorable pigs from the new Lovely Piggies stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them with the coordinating Creative Cuts.

I wanted the little pigs peeking out of hearts, so I used the heart die from Favor Bag Creative Cuts and die-cut both sentiment panels. I think the hearts can go anywhere, but I chose to keep them towards the bottom to highlight the sentiments.




For the first card, I added small die-cut red hearts that I made using the heart 
die from the Lovely Piggies Creative Cuts, and adhered it with foam tape for dimension.

I adhered red cardstock behind the open die-cut heart and adhered the male pig. Lastly, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized card base.



For the second card, I added dimensional foam tape behind the sentiment panel and adhered it to an A2 sized card base. I stamped the small trio of hearts from the Lovely Piggies stamp set and colored it with Copic markers. To finish, I applied Stickles-Star Dust to the hearts and to the bow on the pig. I adhered the pig with dimensional tape.

    Your cards reminded me of a former co-worker who collected Piggies. Great card to send one who Loves and collects Piggies...still waiting for Pigs To Fly! lol Great cards!
