My Favorite Things Product Launch day is finally here! Now you can shop till your heart's content! I can't wait to see all the projects you'll create with the new products.
To celebrate the launch, I'm sharing a birthday card featuring the BB You're Super stamp set. One of my favorite from this release!
At the bottom of this post, I added links to the products I used to make this card.
My super hero is a Batgirl and I colored her using Copic markers and cut her out with the coordinating die.
I die-cut black cardstock with the Solid Skyline Border Die-namics. I realized today that this die might be retired. You can use the new Our Town Die-namics instead, in hindsight that's what I should have. I die-cut gray cardstock with the New York Skyline Die-namics (one of my favorites to use since I'm from New York). I went over the cardstock with Black Soot Distress Oxide to darken it.
On an A2 sized front panel, I adhered a die-cut oval masking tape and washi tape to create a spotlight emanating from a building (inspired by Bat-Signal from Batman). Then, I blended the panel with Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, and Black Soot Distress Oxides. After, I removed the washi tape, lightly added some Salty Ocean and removed the oval masking tape. I used a white pen to add the stars in the sky.
I think for this scene you can use any sentiment you want from the set but I went with a birthday one because I'm always in need of them.

To assemble the card, I adhered the New York City Skyline to the front panel, and then the Solid Skyline as shown. Adhered the die-cut oval shadow and mounted the Batgirl on top with foam tape.
