Pretty Pink Posh - Wishing you Brighter Days

Happy New Year everyone!  I'm kicking off my 2018 crafty adventure with an announcement that I'll be joining the Pretty Pink Posh Design Team for another term. To help celebrate, I made a rainbow friendship card to share with you today.

Pretty Pink Posh Supplies:
Rainy Days  stamp set
Rainy Days coordinating die set

To begin, I ink blended an A2 panel Distress Oxides. After, I splattered water with a sprayer to create texture. Once dried, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Rainy Day stamp set. Then, I stamped the rainbow from the Sparkle Dot Pattern 1 stamp set. I glued on the iridescent 6mm sequins from various mixes. I didn't have enough of the pink sequins to fill the top row of the rainbow so I used it for the bottom row. Otherwise, I would have started with the pink sequins. Also note, I didn't always glue the sequins on exactly where the dots were stamped. If you want to follow the dot pattern, I suggest you use 4mm size sequins. I die-cut the clouds using the cloud dies from the Rainy days die set. I stamped the cute faces and added rosy cheeks with Copic markers on the clouds. I also added colors around the outer edges by applying Distress Oxides with a blending tool.

In the honor of the new Design Team, there is an awesome giveaway going on at Pretty Pink Posh Blog. Leave a comment there for your chance to win $100 gift certificate to the PPP shop. Good Luck!

Thanks so much stopping by today!
Hugs, Amy
