MFT MARCH NEW RELEASE PRODUCT LAUNCH DAY

Hi there! I hope you enjoyed My Favorite Things March Release Countdown. I'm so excited to tell you that all the new products are now available for purchase HERE. 

My card today features the Delightful Dinosaur set and Elegant Rectangle STAX  Die-namics from the new release.

To begin, I stamped the adorable dinosaur with Cement Gray Hybrid Ink on Neenah Classic Crest 80lb and colored it with Copics.  After, I used the coordinating die to cut out.

I wanted to create a scene for this dinosaur so I die-cut the palm tree using Beach Scene Builder Die-namics, greenery using Leafy Greenery Die-namics, and the grass panels using Grassy Edges Die-namics with Heavy Weight green cardstocks. I lightly inked the edges on some of die-cuts with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.

To create the frame, I die-cut white cardstock with the largest and the third largest die from Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-namics together. The frame is made by placing the smaller die inside the larger die, spacing them evenly as possible (I used washi tape to keep them together) and then running it through the die-cutting machine.

To make the shaped card, I partially die-cut an A2 sized top folding card base with the largest die from Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-namics, making sure the cutting line on the die is just over the top part of the card base before die-cutting.

I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to make the clouds on the front of the card base.

To assemble the card, I mounted the frame with two layers of foam tape for dimension. Then I added some of the images with double sided tape and mounted others with foam tape to create my scene as shown. To finish I added the silver embossed sentiment that was die-cut with a sentiment die from Hearts in a Row Vertical Die-namics to the card front.
