Hello and welcome to My Favorite Things May release countdown day 5! There are a lot of great products this month, and I'll be showcasing some of them in this super fun shaker card.
To begin, I made the margarita shaker by die-cutting white cardstock using the new Margarita Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics. I inked the window with Distress Oxides and added some color to the glass with Copic markers.
To assemble the shaker, I inserted the new Margarita Shaker pouch in the open window, added Frosty Ice Cubes inside, and closed it with the inked cardstock. I wanted to make the glass shiny, so I die-cut acetate with the Margarita Shaker Frame Die-namics. I adhered it to the colored glass by using double sided tape just on the top since it's see through. I covered the tape marks by gluing on fake salt made with Diamond Dust and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide on top of the acetate.
To add more interest to the card, I made my own patterned paper by stamping the lime (from the new Martini Time stamp set) randomly on the front panel. I also added splatters of diluted ink.
The sentiment is from the new Spirited Sentiments set and it was embossed. To finish, I foam mounted the margarita glass and the sentiment on top of the front panel.
