Hello and welcome to the MFT August Release Countdown Day 4! All of the amazing new products will be available Tuesday, August 7th at 9PM EDT.
Today I'm sharing a one-layer Halloween card that features the new and super cute BB Frightfully Sweet stamp set.
I used the masking technique to create my one-layer card on Neenah 110 paper. Masking is a technique where you cover a stamped image so that the other images may be placed over it. This created depth and allowed me to stamp the adorable critters close to each other.
I created the masks for the critters, the moon ( I used a die from Beach Scene Die-namics), and the hill (I used a die from Stitched Basic Edges) with stamping mask paper.
Once I had the critters stamped, I covered them with the masks again along with a mask for the moon and the hill. After, I inked the sky with Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxides. Then, I cover the sky with a mask and inked the ground with Forest Moss and Black Soot Distress Oxides. I removed the mask for the sky and added splatters of Sweet tooth Pigment Ink diluted with water to add the stars.
Once I removed all of the masks, I Copic colored the images. To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment in white.
Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see today's full reveal. Thank you for visiting me today. I hope I'll see you again tomorrow for Countdown Day 3!
