MFT SEPTEMBER RELEASE COUNTDOWN DAY 2

Hello and welcome to the MFT September Release Countdown Day 2!

My card today features the super cute Woodland Friends stamp set.

To begin, I stamped the images from Woodland Friends on Neenah paper with Cement Gray Hybrid Ink for no-line coloring with Copics. After, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

The front panel was die-cut with the second largest die from A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. I ink blended the panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. After, I foam mounted it to a top folding white card base.

The trees were die-cut with the Birch Trees Die-namics. I ink blended them with Vintage Photo and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxides and added splatters of water for texture. The leaves were ink blended with Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon, and Candied Apple Distress Oxides.  I added the trees with the leaves to the front panel with double-sided tape or one to two layers of foam tape. This adds a fun dimension to the card.

For the grass panel, I die-cut Sour Apple Cardstock with the same die as the front panel and then die-cut it with a die from the Grassy Hills Die-namics. I ink blended the top part of the grass with Mowed Lawn. Then, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Woodland Friends stamp set in white. After, I foam mounted the grass panel onto the front panel with two layers of foam tape.

Lastly, I adhered the images to the card as shown.

Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see today's full reveal. Thank you for visiting me today, and I hope I'll see you again tomorrow for Countdown Day 1!
