Before I share my duo of holiday cards, here are a few words from Nina with details about the amazing new products released today:
In Waffle Flower’s September release, you will find the highly requested Color Swatches for Inkpads (stamp) that includes everything you need to swatch out your stamping inks.
For those of you who are already thinking about Holiday cards, you will find the cutest witch in Hocus Pocus (stamp, die, combo) to help you cast your spell around Halloween; the most adorable pumpkins in Stitched Harvest (stamp, die, combo) to help you get the cross-stitched look without a needle or thread; you will also find Cookie Time (stamp, die, combo) that highlights the popular cookie baking and exchange activities around the holiday season along with the precious Gingerbread House Die to complete your tags or cards!
Since we are on the topic of food, you will also find the sweetest confections in Sweet Treats (stamp, die, combo) and the cutest veggies in We Blend (stamp, die, combo).
Now, onto my first card! it features the adorable and fun Hocus Pocus stamp set.
I Copic colored the stamped images from Hocus Pocus and cut them out with the Hocus Pocus Matching Die set.
The front panel was ink blended with sponge daubers using Distress Oxides. I added splatters of water for texture. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and foam mounted the colored images as shown.
My second card features the super cute Cookie Time stamp set!
I Copic colored the stamped images from Cookie Time and cut them out with the Cookie Time Matching Die set.
I stamped the front panel using the brick image (I think that's what it is) that is included in the set for added interest. Then, I foam mounted the trimmed red patterned paper as shown.
To finish, I adhered the colored images with double sided tape or foam tape.
