MAMA ELEPHANT OCTOBER RELEASE STAMPEDE

My shaker card today features the new and beautifully hand-lettered Happy New Year Wishes stamp set along with the adorable Little Snowman Agenda stamp set.


To begin, I Copic colored the snowmen from the Little Snowman Agenda stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Little Snowman Agenda Creative Cuts.


I ink blended the background panel with Distress Oxides and added splatters of water and Copic Opaque White.

To create the front window, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Happy New Year Wishes stamp set on heat resistant acetate. I adhered the window to a die-cut frame that I made using a frame die from the Pegworks Creative Cuts. I added two layers of foam tape to the frame and mounted it to the background panel with the shaker elements inside.


To create the snow hill panel in the front, I used one of the dies from the Borderlines Trio Creative Cuts.

To finish, I adhered the snowmen to the front window as shown.

    This card is great. I love shaker cards and it is perfect for a happy new year card. I haven’t seen many cards for New Years so I like that you shared this.

    The faux snow inside the shaker is fantastic! The detail of it adds something special to the card, especially against that ink-blended background. It's a great way to showcase the beautiful lettering of the sentiment.
