Hello and welcome to MFT February Hits and Highlights challenge. For this fun challenge, the design team will be highlighting the Tic Tac Toe set.
This set includes 4 durable tic tac toe board shapes that nestle into our Square Shaker Pouches to create a perfect fit. Add x's, o's, or a heart from our Mixed Heart Pieces and attach to your card for an interactive look that will delight kids and kids-at-heart alike. This set also includes (18) x's and (18)o's.

For my card today, I used the tic tac toe board included in the set along with the BB Birth-Yay stamp set to create a fun scene.
To begin, I colored the stamped images from the BB Birth-Yay stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details to the images.
The front panel was ink blended with Distress Oxides and die-cut with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1.
The sentiment is from the BB Birth-Yay and it was heat embossed in white.
To finish, I adhered the tic tac toe board and the colored images to the front panel. To add more interest to the card I glued on a few sparking clear sequins.
Visit the MFT blog to check out how the others on our team interpreted our latest Hits & Highlights challenge.
Thank you for visiting me. Have a wonderful day and happy stamping!!

Love your tic-tac-toe party animals card!
ReplyDeleteYour birthday card is a party on paper! I love your layers of tic tac toe and the critters. So fun!
ReplyDeleteI love your idea for a different use for the tic tac toe set. This idea makes the set much more versatile.
ReplyDeleteI really love all your cards. I have couple of white embossing powders, but the colors don't seem to show well after heat embossing. May I ask what brand of white embossing powder you use?
