MFT FLOWERS IN BLOOM CARD KIT - DAY 1

Hello and welcome to the Day 1 of the MFT June Card Kit Countdown. The new Flowers in the Bloom Card Kit will be available for purchase on Tuesday, June 25th at 10AM, EDT.

To begin, I stamped the image from the Flowers in Bloom stamp set on watercolor paper with the Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I watercolored the flowers with the Flower Fresh Color Burst powders mixed with water. I also added white dots and traced the outlines of the flowers with a white gel pen After, I die-cut the flowers using Flowers in Bloom Die-namics.

For the front panel, I used the Flowers Fresh Color Burst again. This time I sprinkled the panel with the powders on a Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper and sprayed it with water to activate the colors. Once dried, I die-cut the panel with a die from the A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the Flowers in Bloom as shown.

To assemble the card, I adhered a trimmed A2 sized Tropical Teal Cardstock to a top folding white card base. On top of that, I adhered the front panel. To finish, I foam mounted the watercolored flowers to the front panel as shown.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for the full kit reveal and remember to join me back here tomorrow for day 2. :)
