MFT - JULY HITS AND HIGHLIGHTS

Hello and welcome to the MFT July Hits and Highlights. For this month the design team is challenged to create a birthday project featuring the July release and the newest card kit, Let's Toast (with a twist).

My card inspired by the challenge using the Let's Toast (with a twist) card kit.

To begin, I die-cut the glasses from the Let's Toast die-namics and ink blended it with Limelight Premium Dye Ink. I glued on a few jewels for added interest.

To build the toasting mechanism, I used the Meet in the Middle Interactive Die-namics. 

The front panel was ink blended using the Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink with English Brick Wall Stencil.

I made the flowers and leaves using the card stocks included in the new kit with the Stitched Flowers Die-namics.

The sentiment from the A Toast to You stamp set was heat embossed on black card stock and trimmed. 

To assemble the card, I adhered the toasting mechanism panel to an A2 sized top folding card base. Next, I foam mounted the front panel on top. Then, I glued on the flowers and the sentiment panel. Lastly, I added the glasses as shown.
