My projects today features the adorable new Fuzzy Hugs stamp set along with the new Winter Forest Cover Creative Cuts.
The first project I'm sharing is a fun shaker card.
To begin, I stamped the bunnies from the Fuzzy Hugs stamp set with light gray ink and colored them with Copic Markers. After, I used the coordinating Fuzzy Hugs CC to cut them out.
The background was ink blended with Distress Oxides and the front panel was die-cut with the Winter Forest Cover Creative Cuts. I love this new die; it makes scene building so easy!
I assembled my shaker card and filled the inside with loose glitter. I also glued on glitter to some of the areas on the front panel as shown. To finish, I foam mounted the colored image. To ground the image, I added shadows with Copics.
I stamped the sentiment "Fuzzy Hugs and Warm Wishes" inside the card.
For the second project, I stamped the images from the Fuzzy Hugs stamp set with light brown ink and colored them with Copic Markers. After, I used the coordinating Fuzzy Hugs CC to cut them out.
Once again, I ink blended the background with Distress Oxides.
I also die-cut the front panel with Winter Forest Cover Creative Cuts.
I heat embossed the sentiment "Warm Holiday Hugs" from Fuzzy Hugs and die-cut it with a die from the Sentiment Flags Creative Cuts (free with $200 or more purchase).
To assemble the card, I glued the front panel to the background panel, After, I foam mounted the colored images and the sentiment as shown. Lastly, I added splatters of white ink to create snow.

ReplyDeleteThat purply-pink to teal background is gorgeous! It's not a blending color combo I would have thought of for sky, but it works so well. I also like the little finishing touch you gave each hugging couple by drawing eyelashes on the girls.
