Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant's October Stamp Highlight Series. Today the design team is featuring the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.

For my project today I made mini holiday cards that features the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set along with the Little Snowman Agenda stamp set.

To begin, I stamped the snow globe form the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set. Next, I stamped the snowman from the Little Snowman Agenda stamp set and used the masking technique. Masking ( you cover the stamp image) is a stamping technique that involves layering stamps to create depth, giving you the illusion that images are in front of or behind each other.  After I masked the snowman, I stamped the scene image from the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set. I used the same step for all the cards, creating different scenes inside the snowglobe. Once I was done stamping I used Copic markers to color in all the images. I used a white gel pen to add snow to the scenes.  I used the coordinating die from the Snow Globe Bitties CC to cut them out.

For the sentiment border and the "Happy Holiday" sentiment, I used the Snow Globe Bitties stamp set and the rest of the sentiment was from the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set. Once stamped and colored with Copics I cut them out with a coordinating die from the Snow Globe Bitties CC.

To finish, I foam mounted the colored snow globes to a top folding card base as shown.

That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed my project. Thank you for visiting me!

Happy stamping and have an awesome day!
Hugs, Amy :)
