The challenge for this month:
Extraordinaire Stencils
We've long been big proponents of the versatility of stencils. They are uniquely suited to a wide variety of techniques and mediums, feature exceptional durability, and are incredibly affordable — you simply can't beat their value in your crafting toolbox! This month, our team is showcasing some of that versatility by spotlighting techniques you can achieve with Extraordinaire stencils.
My card inspired by the challenge:
To begin, I Copic colored the stamped penguin from the BB Holiday Penguins stamp set and die-cut it with the coordinating Die-namics.
For the front panel, I used the Square Extraordinaire with the Drifts & Hills Stencil and ink blended it with Distress Oxides on an A2 kraft card stock. I used a white gel pen to add white dots to create snow.
The sentiment from the BB Holiday Penguins stamp set was white heat embossed on Wild Cherry card stock and trimmed to fit the card.
To assemble the card, I foam mounted the colored image and the sentiment to the card front as shown.
